What is a Queer Straight Alliance (QSA)?

A QSA is an organization that brings together individuals of all preferences, religious backgrounds, abilities, races, sexual orientations and gender identities to support one another, create safe spaces, and promote awareness and understanding.

QSAs work to break down barriers and stereotypes, challenge discrimination, and foster a sense of community and unification.

Our alliance works hard to provide safe and welcoming spaces for individuals of all sexual orientations and gender identities. We aim to promote acceptance, education, and understanding of the LGBTQ+ community and allies among both our members and the wider community.

We are committed to collaborating with and supporting other community groups and organizations that represent individuals of all preferences, abilities, races and identities.

We are a registered non-profit organization with Alberta Corporations, and are currently seeking Federal Charity Status.
